The little story of a 30 year old zero-Day Entrepreneur

This is my first public post. It evolves over time to reflect the transformational progress I pursue. I will guide you briefly through my personal background to be able to share what lies ahead.

  1. Human Relationships
  2. Challenging myself
  3. Digital Transformation
  4. Start living the future together
I have never really been good at anything.
At least when looking at the yearly average grade.

In the past I suffered a lot. Through school, university and my first jobs I never felt appreciated, never knew who I was, never felt my strengths. Even with family and friends I often felt like the outsider of that particular group. Except for close 1–1 relationships.

1–1 relationships are where I feel most comfortable and relaxed. Because I don’t get stressed by all other peoples emotions. This allows me to share and connect on a much deeper level.

During childhood and young adolescence I mostly had female friends. Growing up with 8 woman in the family vs 3 males. You do the Math. This always seemed natural to me because I was understood. PS: I’m not talking about girlfriends here. That is a completely different story.

Male 1–1 relationships have always been rare. I choose them carefully and maintain only one at a time. Though once connected we never loose touch.

School made me dumb, bored and anxious. Not the best mix to conquer today's world.

I’m 30 and life is a mess.
Consuming fast food media makes me numb.

Today I challenged myself. Starting to write publicly on #medium even without a specific goal gave me the push I needed to understand what’s bothering me. I developed a habit — a really nasty one. It dates back to my high school years, first love, parental home and lot’s of luxury unpleasing freedom. I got stuck in a linear way of life with the sole purpose of distracting myself from what matters most: conscious feelings.

This post started with just another random idea

The audio logbook is a technology that allows music bands to communicate in realtime with its audience. Without any other company interfering. Imagine KEXP happening in your living room. Your home cinema acts as a portal to connect you in a 360 video world, that has real 3-dimensional sound.

Much more important though is what I realised in that moment:
I need to give life to my thoughts by sharing them publicly.

Random ideas about society, business models, technology, human interaction happen often, spontaneously and they pass by quickly. Once in a while I try to save these ideas by writing them down or drawing on some lousy piece of paper — which is one of the most beautiful things in this world. But it’s slow and it’s qualities of being shared excel only in a narrow 1 on 1 environment.

It gets worse when trying to interact with a computer by transcribing a peace of paper — key by key — it just doesn’t make any sense. You are communicating with a digital machine that might only think in zeros and ones but it capable of capturing and understanding video and audio in multiple languages! It’s madness! Ain’t no watson in this world I’m *currently* able to afford.

Facebook is so full of the clearwebs opinions that I get too distracted building my own. I think it’s great that we share common opinions publicly! Like them and put comments on them. But have you recently thought about who is presenting the content we consume? And why isn’t the answer always “the creator himself”?

It’s not our technology that stops us from making that a reality. It’s the way we think and how we are used to live. Our wealth, our food, our car and the people around us — and this brings me back to the beginning — we all live our individual habits. Some just by themselves unable to even speak a word of it.

Some notes for further development

  • I love thinking about stuff
  • It pains me to act on it myself
  • Digital Transformation is happening
  • Everything is scalable and fully automated
  • Social Change is impossible without changing politics and mass media
  • my life doesn’t reflect any of my dreams of the future.
  • We have to start thinking, speaking and acting globally!
  • probably should have taken my photos with instagram
  • edited them with Apples new Photos App. To be honest I never liked Apple very much. The big shock is: I kinda want to.
  • The idea of having a rock solid system, that satisfies 80% of my needs is beautiful. But to wich costs?
